Hyundai India has just rolled out 11 new charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) across the country. These stations are designed to juice up your EV quickly and conveniently.
So, if you’re in Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Gurugram, or Bangalore, you’re in luck because you’ll find these charging points in your city. They’ve also got you covered if you’re hitting the highways between Delhi and Chandigarh, Delhi and Jaipur, Hyderabad and Vijayawada, or Mumbai and Surat or Nashik.
Each of these charging stations is equipped with different types of chargers, including ones that can deliver a charge at 150kW, 60kW, and 30kW speeds. Plus, Hyundai is making sure you don’t get bored while waiting for your EV to charge by providing amenities like coffee shops and restaurants at many of these locations.
Now, let’s talk pricing. Booking a charging session won’t break the bank either. It’ll cost you Rs 18 per unit for the 30kW charger, Rs 21 per unit for the 60kW charger, and Rs 24 per unit for the speedy 150kW charger. You can easily book your charging session through Hyundai’s myHyundai smartphone app.
Hyundai isn’t stopping at just 11 charging stations. They’re planning to add at least 10 more locations in 2024. And that’s not all – they’ve got big plans to install a whopping 100 charging stations by 2027. This commitment comes as part of an agreement with the Government of Tamil Nadu, which they made during a big investor meeting earlier this year.
